Why do we need your information?

• We will process your personal data for traveller management and marketing purposes.

• The information you provide us with is only intended to provide you with a service that best suits your characteristics and needs. As such, and for the purposes of booking products and contacting Traveller Support, we hereby inform you that your contact details and address will be passed on to our subcontracted partners for the realisation of the products booked by our travellers. We will process your data to send you information about products and services. This data processing will only be carried out with your consent, given at the time of registration. If you consent, you will receive marketing publications via email and/or WhatsApp.

• Consent to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes can be revoked at any time. Your data will be kept until you wish to delete it.

What we collect and store

As you visit our website, we will record:

• Products you have viewed: we use this, for example, to show products you have recently viewed
• Place of departure: we will ask you, for example, to estimate transport costs before you make a booking !

We also use cookies to maintain the contents of the suitcase while you browse our website.

When you book on our website, we will ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, place of departure, email address, WhatsApp number, payment details and optional account information such as username and password. We will use this information for purposes such as:

• Sending you information about the booking
• Responding to your requests, including changes / cancellations / refunds / exchanges
• Processing payments and preventing fraud
• Setting up your account on our website
• Fulfilling any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
• Improving the offers on our platform
• Send you offer messages if you wish to receive them

In general, we store information about you for as long as we need it for the reasons we collect it, and we are not required by law to continue to keep it. For example, we will store information for 10 years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes name, email and billing address. We store comments or ratings.

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us with. For example, platform administrators and managers can access:

• Booking information, what / when / where the booking will be for
• User information such as name, email and billing address and place of departure.

Our team members have access to this information to make reservations, process changes / cancellations / refunds / exchanges and support the user / traveller.

What we share with third parties

We share information with third parties who help us process bookings.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Payments

We accept the types of payment available at the Checkout, such as Bank Transfer, debit card or other means available on the platform (depending on the country of origin of the booking).

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
